1st Anniversary of Pittsburgh Synagogue Shooting
The Shabbat of Nov.15-16 will be marking the 1st Anniversary since the Pittsburgh Synagogue Shooting Killing 11 last year.
The Colonie Chabad Jewish Center will be hosting a Communal Shabbat Dinner to mark this date, on Friday, Nov. 15th at the Shaker Road-Loudonville Fire House,P l 550 Albany Shaker Rd, Loudonville, NY 12211.
"We want to honor the memory of those killed due to the Anti Semitic attack in Pittsburgh. We also want to Celebrate Jewish Life and Jewish Pride as a Community in these most important times. We believe this will a both beautiful and meaningful communal Friday night dinner, the first of its kind in Colonie", says Rabbi Mordechai Rubin the Director of the Center in Colonie.
